Romeo, Romeo, where art thou, Romeo Beckham? Oh, just starring in Burberry’s latest Festive Campaign, no big deal!
It’s actually the norm for the 12-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham. He first made his modeling debut at the age of 10 in Burberry ads, so it’s only fitting that he stars as the lead role in their latest holiday campaign.
The campaign comes in the shape of a short film, which runs just over four minutes long. According to the brand’s YouTube page, “The Burberry festive film is inspired by the golden age of cinematic musicals. It tells the tale of a young couple falling in love, against a theatrical backdrop of London.”
As for Romeo’s role, he literally brings festive cheer to the audience, wherein he flashes that famous Beckham grin, shares gifts, kicks and blows snow everywhere, and dances in what could be described as the perfect blend of Fred Astaire’s artistic moves mixed in with some modern day breakdancing.
What’s more, the little guy is decked out in a few of Burberry’s iconic looks: A trench coat and checkered-print scarf, a svelte suit with a bow tie, and a fresh, gold take on the trench. We’ve got to hand it to the little guy — he sure knows how to bring on the holiday cheer!
