The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, who is currently taking a break from the drama down South to make her mark on the Great White Way as the Wicked Stepmother in Cinderella on Broadway, is getting the star treatment at her new gig.
NeNe posted photos of life backstage to her website and Instagram and it looks as though New York is already taking a liking to Linnethia.
NeNe’s dressing room may not be as spacious as what she’s used to in Atlanta, but it’s clear that she’s already made the place her own.
In addition to the usual components of any Broadways dressing room — from a brightly-lit vanity covered in high-end makeup and bouquets of flowers to comfy couches — NeNe has accessorized the space with some unusual art, namely an enormous portrait of herself, which reads, “I have arrived.”
While NeNe seems to be making herself at home in NYC during her stint in the show, she didn’t go into the gig feeling the love. After learning that Kenya Moore had seen NeNe’s predecessor, Sherri Shepherd, in the show, rather than coming to support her, NeNe said, “They don’t support me, as you guys can see, but they dearly want support from me … The hate is real, honey,”
