Oh, Marcus Grodd. The beautiful, blue-eyed heartthrob from Andi Dorfman’s The Bachelorette Season 10 showed the Atlanta gal his booty shaking skills twice,in an effort to win her heart. Alas, his stripper skills just weren’t quite enough to shimmy him past Hometown Dates. So how has the private dancer coped since the woman who was “everything” to him told him she kinda wants nothing from him? Depends who you ask.
According to the man himself, he hasn’t totally moved on from his lady love. In a conference call with Reality TV World he said, “Just like any relationship or breakup, it's tough getting over that person, especially if you had such a strong connection or you actually love that person...and I'm still in the process of getting over her.” Poor guy. His “I love you’s” may come at lightning speed, but his healing process is a bit sluggish.
But if you ask Reality Steve, Marcus is doing just fine. In fact, better than fine — kind of stupendously, awesomely beyond fine! The spoiler king says Marcus parlayed his stint on The Bachelorette into an appearance on ABC’s new spin-off series Bachelor in Paradise, in which M.Grodd met, wooed, and got engagedto co-star Lacy Faddoul.
Um, a little friendly advice, Marcus. If you’re currently engaged to someone, maybe don’t hold a press conference and tell all the reporters there that you’re still not over your ex. Bad form.
What do you think — is Marcus taking too long to heal, or should his healing be over thanks to Lacy? Tell us in the comments.
