Grey’s Anatomy Season 11, Episode 9 Sneak Peek: Jackson Melts Down
We have our first scene from the new episodes of Grey's Anatomy, and it's an emotional one… with an inappropriate reaction!
In the clip below — coming from January 29's Season 11, Episode 9 aka "Where Do We Go From Here?" — Jackson (Jesse Williams) rushes into a supply room, where pretty much all the doctors have their cases of the feels, and begins to look overwhelmed.
Good ol' Richard (James Pickens Jr.) comes in and clears his throat. "Everything OK?" he asks, clearly unaware of Jackson's baby troubles.
In case you somehow fell asleep in the winter finale, Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton), Arizona (Jessica Capshaw), and Dr. Herman (Geena Davis) concluded that Jackson's baby with April (Sarah Drew) has osteogenesis imperfecta, a condition that causes brittle bones. And Dr. Herman is pretty pessimistic about the Japril baby's chances.
Inexplicably, Jackson bursts out in laughter. OK, never mind. It's Grey's. People laugh at inappropriate times.
But the former Chief knows Jackson isn't actually laughing, and sure enough, Jackson's chuckles quickly turn into sobs.
"No," Jackson responds. "Everything is not OK."
Poor guy! We're pulling for his unborn baby, but we know the prognosis isn't good. OK, never mind. It's Grey's. Pregnancies never go well.
Grey's Anatomy Season 11, Episode 9 — "Where Do We Go From Here?" — airs Thursday, January 29, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
