Emile Hirsch Accused of Assaulting Film Exec at Sundance (VIDEO)
Sundance may have have turned into Slamdance for actor Emile Hirsch, according to one studio executive.
Park City, Utah isn’t known for being a dangerous place at 3 a.m. on a Sunday, but the New York Post reports that the Bonnie and Clyde star ran into a little ruckus while he was in town. Page Six reports that the Into The Wild star was on hand to promote his new film, Ten Thousand Saints. Right before the sun came up on Sunday, Emile Hirsch got into a confrontation with a Paramount studio exec. The woman executive claimed that Hirsch assaulted her, and then had security call the police.
Emile made no attempts to make a getaway. Instead, he waited and spoke with the authorities. Sometime around 5 a.m., Emile was allowed to go with his friends, and no arrests were made. Emile may have been in town to talk of Ten Thousand Saints, but seems there was some sinnin’ going on. Sin? Violence? In Utah? Gasp!
