Teyana Taylor Accuses Porsha Williams of Stealing Her Idea For a Clothing Line

Porsha Williams may pride herself on creativity, but when it comes to her upcoming clothing line, it doesn’t look like all of her ideas are as original as fans might have hoped.

After Porsha posted a photo of a long-sleeved black t-shirt, bearing the slogan “#unbothered” to her Instagram, announcing that her clothing line would be released soon, singer Teyana Taylor fired back, claiming that the Real Housewives of Atlanta star had stolen the idea from her line of the same name.

“No it will not be coming out because unbothered is my clothing line, legally as well & u follow me so I’m sure you know what it is. So you should take this down,” writes Teyana.

While Porsha has neither responded to Teyana’s claims, nor taken the image down, it seems like this may be a hard case to prove — Teyana may be using the name for her line, but it’s more than a little difficult to prove ownership over a word.

Porsha isn’t the only member of the Real Housewives cast who’s been accused of a little intellectual property theft in recent weeks — NeNe Leakes stands accused of stealing the design for her “Girl, Bye” t-shirt from an independent designer, and many have claimed that Demetria McKinney’s single, “100,” bears striking similarity to a song by gospel artist Uncle Reece.

Do you think Porsha intentionally stole Teyana’s idea, or is it just a misunderstanding? Sound off in the comments!
