Bachelor 2015 Episode 6 Ratings: Kelsey’s Drama Wins Again!
This will absolutely not come as a shock to the people responsible for bringing The Bachelorto us each week, or to those who watch it: Drama brings in the viewers. In fact, for the second week in a row, specifically Kelsey Poe-related drama has brought in the viewers, and ABC’s seeing a sweet return on casting the villainous guidance counselor.
Although last week’s episode (Episode 5) scored a season high, this week’s (Episode 6) has helped The Bachelor top itself. According to TVbytheNumbers, The hype around Kelsey’s two-on-one date with Chris Soules plus her panic attack that continued at the beginning of the episode helped bring in a 2.7 rating up from last week’s 2.5.
It all boils down to this: More than 8 million people tuned in to see both Kelsey and Ashley Iaconetti get eliminated last night. That’s pretty impressive!
Is it any surprise, though? The episodes just keep getting better and better (read: more dramatic) as the season goes on, and it definitely doesn’t sound like the good people at ABC are going to let it stop here. Sunday and Monday of next week bring us double doses of The Bachelor — including a "Chris Tells All" special — meaning that the Hometown Dates are almost finally here. We’re getting close to the end, guys!
Fingers crossed that ratings continue to rise. We want to see The Bachelor go on for as long as possible.
