Chris Harrison warned us of this a couple weeks back when he teased the dramatic WTA episode. “Britt was the star of the show and is still, I think, in love with the guy,” Chris shared with TV Guide at the time. “It was brutal. She leaned in on Carly [because she] felt if things had been different, if the girls hadn't sabotaged her, she and Chris would've ended up together.”
We watched that all go down tonight, though in our humble opinion, it’s not that Chris let Carly Waddell sabotage his relationship with Britt. If he was truly in love with Britt the way she deserved him to be, nothing anyone said could have changed his mind. By letting her go, Chris ultimately did her a favor.
Before Britt got into her feelings with Chris, she had to defend herself to the rest of the girls who called her “fake” for being one person with the Bachelor and another with the contestants. Unfortunately, it seems like Britt and Carly are never going to see eye to eye on this one.
Also unfortunate is that it seems that the gal just hasn’t fully moved on from Prince Farming. The L.A. waitress revealed that she would have moved to Arlington to be with him — though most people disagreed — and that, if it weren’t for Carly, she would still be with Chris.
“I had never felt that before, and it was like that [snaps],” Britt says of the moment C.Soules sent her home. “It was never gone until that night,” she sobbed to Chris Harrison in between commercial breaks.
Poor thing! At the very least, she had some ugly cries on-camera (which we wouldn’t wish on our worst enemy) and the very worst, she’s still pining for a man who is presumably engaged to someone else (find that out over here).
Do you think Britt’s feelings were genuine? And do you think she’s still in love with Chris? Sound off below!
