Kandi Burruss: Group Therapy With My Castmates is a Waste of Time
While the rest of the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast is trying to work on their interpersonal drama with a group therapy session, Kandi Burruss is doing her best to let them know that she doesn’t think a kumbaya moment is necessary for her.
On Sunday’s episode of RHoA, Kandi made it clear that she’s not into the idea of talking out her problems with the rest of the group, despite NeNe Leakes’ insistence that it will benefit all of them.
“I thought [counseling] was a waste of my time, but that's because I didn't know what Phaedra was saying behind my back,” says Kandi.
Despite Kandi’s best efforts to prove her loyalty to Phaedra, she says she was surprised to hear her friends insinuate that she’s not doing enough.
“It's crazy watching the show and hearing Porsha and Phaedra discuss how I'm not a friend and that I'm siding with Apollo because my husband and Apollo are friends, and blah, blah, blah. At the time that they had that conversation, I didn't even know Phaedra had a problem with me like that,” says Kandi, who claims she’s been vocal in her support of Phaedra to everyone, including her own husband.
Although Kandi may be reluctant to team up with the girls for therapy, it’s clear that this group could use some major healing before purses actually get thrown.
Do you think that Kandi’s right about the group counseling session, or do you think there’s a possibility that therapy could help them? Sound off in the comments!
