Grey's Anatomy

Grey’s Anatomy Season 11, Episode 15 Sneak Peek: Meredith’s Streak (VIDEO)

Derek's (Patrick Dempsey) move to Washington D.C. was good for his career, but was it good for his wife's, too? That's the sense we're getting from this sneak peek from the episode of Grey's Anatomy airing tomorrow night, March 12 — Season 11, Episode 15: "I Feel the Earth Move."

As the clip starts, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), Alex (Justin Chambers), Jo (Camilla Luddington), and Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) are all huddled around a patient in the O.R., a patient whom Mer's surgical heroics have just saved.

"The streak's alive," Jo mutters.

Mer demands that Jo explain herself, so Jo says, "You're pitching a no-hitter. You haven't lost a single patient since November 14. Eighty-nine surgeries in a row with good outcomes … And twenty-two were traumas. I mean, who does that? You because you're magic!"

Mer, perturbed, scrubs out of the surgery. Alex chases after her, trying to debunk this whole streak business: "There's no such thing. It's just dumb luck. Look, you're not that great anyway, so just forget about it."

"No, no, no. It's not that It's the date that it started," Mer says. "That's the day Derek left. And I've been perfect ever since, have not lost one single patient. Not one since the day he left. What does that tell you? That you're right? That I'm better off without him?"

Certainly seems that way!

Grey's Anatomy Season 11, Episode 15 — "I Feel the Earth Move" — airs this Thursday, March 12, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
