Grey’s Anatomy Music: Season 11, Episode 18: “When I Grow Up”

This week’s episode of Grey’s AnatomySeason 11, Episode 18: “When I Grow Up” — found Derek (Patrick Dempsey) back at the hospital at last. His first task: Letting his sister, Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) boss him around. Because, you know… she’s the boss now!

Meanwhile, a visiting class of children got to witness something scary: Two policemen who had been shot during a bank robbery, and one of the children got lost in the hospital in the shuffle. So yeah, it’s been an eventful day at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital!

And although there aren’t too many of them, these are the songs that served as the soundtrack:

Song: “Hush of Night”

Artist: Asgeir

Scene: Dr. Bailey harvests the policeman’s organs after death

Was there nothing but the hush of night?

Had a boat; don't remember where.

Did you flee from what was said and seen?

Truth's not true under the light of lies.

Raise your sword and shield

Song: “Mercy! You Need Saving”

Artist: Neulore

Scene: Ending monologue, Derek talks to Amelia

The lord of lies stole you away from me

He filled your cup, it over flowed

The wine of deceit

Will never taste as sweet in the morning

The shame you wear, you put it there

It's yours to bare

The next episode of Grey’s Anatomy — Season 11, Episode 19: “Crazy Love” — airs Thursday, April 9 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
