Andi Dorfman Reveals Fashion Line Plans — Get the Details!

Ever since Andi Dorfman made the major move from Atlanta to New York City, we’ve been waiting to see what sort of career announcements the former Bachelorette would make. For some time, the recently-single Andi has teased her next step and we guessed it had something to do with her fashion aspirations, and now that’s been confirmed!

While everyone has been focusing on whether the 28-year-old beauty was getting back together with exes Josh Murray and Nick Viall — or whether she was upset about Josh moving on with another Bachelor alum — Andi has been keeping her eyes on the prize: a fashion line!

The former assistant district attorney chatted with People at a recent Dressbarn event and she let it slip that she’s hoping to dip her toe into design — though she’s not afraid of taking her time with her first project. “I would love to do a collaboration that eventually leads to my own line,” Andi shares.

As for what sort of line the Andi Dorfman collection would be, this lady is being smart and planning for pieces ladies of every size and taste can appreciate: accessories!

“I want to start with accessories,” she explains. “I love accessories, and I think they’re so easy for everybody. Like you can feel bloated, and have a nice clutch. And you can feel not your best and wear a great pair of shoes or have some great jewelry.”

While it sounds like nothing is in motion just yet — or at least nothing that the Dorf is ready to share — she’s getting plenty of practice with her own wardrobe. “I find myself always altering whatever I have on. I’m like, ‘OK, I’m gonna make that a crossbody’ and then I go out and buy a chain. Or I’ll take a handle off here or an inch off there.” Sounds like a natural to us!

And what can we thank for Andi’s new chapter? Her inspiring new hometown and its residents! “Fashion is an expression here in New York — it’s just like one step ahead. And everyone owns it. There’s nothing like seeing a girl walk down the sidewalk and you know that she just owns her style … There’s something different about New York women. It’s more artsy, a little more undone — but in a good way.”

Can’t wait to see what you have in store, girl!
