Connie Britton Wants to “Break Through” Fear of Releasing Her Own Music (VIDEO)

Connie Britton may have legendary hair, major acting chops, and that “Texas Forever” attitude we love so much, but believe it or not she’s apprehensive about recording music. Though the Nashville star lends her voice to the television show and its soundtracks, she has yet to get over the fear of putting her own music out there.

“I don’t know!” the 48-year-old actress told ETonline when asked about entering the music industry. “Every once in a while I have a moment where I’m like, ‘Oh, that would be kind of fun.’ But, I don’t know! That is the part that scares me the most, so we’ll see.”

OK, so that’s not exactly the answer we were looking for from the voice behind Rayna Jaymes, but we’ll take it. It’s kind of like the “never say never” mantra celebs use all the time. With co-stars who have branched out with their own tracks, like Chris Carmack and on-screen daughters Lennon & Maisy Stella, it’s almost like Connie has to, right?

“Maybe that will be another fear that I try to break through,” Connie continued.

While you’re waiting to buy Connie’s debut album — we’re putting it out there in the universe, you guys — you can catch her this fall on Season 4 of Nashville and in Me and Earl and the Dying Girl out in theaters this Friday.
