NASCAR’s Dale Earnhardt Jr. Is Engaged to Amy Reimann! (PHOTO)
NASCAR drivers might be pros at turning left on the track, but it seems as though Dale Earnhardt Jr. just made the right decision in his love life. Bad puns aside, we’re super excited for the 40-year-old North Carolina native because he just popped the question to girlfriend Amy Reimann and she said yes!
The No. 88 driver’s lady love took to Twitter to share with the world that her man has proposed while they’re on vacation in Germany.
“I’m completely overwhelmed with love & joy,” she tweeted along with a photo of them in a Lutheran church the Earnhardts attended centuries ago. “Happiest girl in the world! I love you so much @DaleJr.”
In addition to Dale and Amy declaring their love for one another on social media, the racer’s older sister, Kelley Earnhardt, went ahead and welcomed her new sister-in-law to the famous clan. “Adding another sis-in-law to the family!” she tweeted. “Happy for my brother and his future bride! Herzlichen Glückwunsch!” (That means “Congratulations” for those of you who don’t speak German.)
We’re sure Dale Earnhardt Sr. — Dale Jr.’s father who died in a tragic crash during the Daytona 500 in 2001 — would be ecstatic for his son if he were still around today.
