Looks like Kirk Frost’s love of his toys has gotten him in a bit of trouble — OK, a lot of trouble.
According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star was arrested on multiple charges this past Sunday, June 28 during a dirt bike and ATV rally in Atlanta.
Police said approximately 400 motorized vehicles — including but not limited to dirt bikes and ATVs — gathered around Ralph McGill and Piedmont avenues in the city when an Atlanta PD cop noticed that several of the vehicles were violating traffic laws. When he approached the vehicles, he was then surrounded as they “popped wheelies and drove very recklessly.”
At the tail-end of the rally was a red Polaris Slingshot that ran multiple red lights and drove on the wrong side of the road. When the police officer pulled over the motor vehicle, he found Kirk behind the wheel. He was then arrested for reckless driving, operating an unregistered vehicle, failure to stop for an emergency vehicle, driving on the wrong side of the roadway, and five counts of failure to obey a traffic control device.
Another man by the name of Demarcus Jordan, 28, was arrested at a gas station on Moreland Avenue after allegedly blocking traffic near the I-20 eastbound expressway with a pack of other dirt bike and ATV drivers.
Hmm… maybe Kirk’s mother-in-law Shirley wasn’t wrong to run over his bike. If she wrecked it, he probably wouldn’t have been in the trouble he got himself into.
Both Kirk and Demarcus were released on a $3,502 and $2,131 bond, respectively, on Monday, June 29.
Kirk took to Instagram after his release to post a photo of himself as a free man in addition to the bike that got him into trouble.
