Maybe it’s cheating to make a resolution to plan for the future (a bit like wishing for a million more wishes), but these Liars are seriously making us nervous about their lack of after high school planning. They’ve been seniors in high school forever, which means graduation will soon be upon them. We don’t blame them for being distracted what with all of this “A” business, but it might be nice to have some semblance of a plan. Just saying.
Make Peace With Mona
We’re not saying that Hanna has to be friends with Mona again, but we think it might be good for her mental health if she made peace with her frenemy, deciding once and for all if she can trust her or not. This back and forth can’t be good for the brain. And, judging by Mona’s glare in this winter premiere sneak peek, it might not be good for Hanna's continued survival, either.
Spend Time With Her Mom
This past half-season has been a rough one in the Marin household. Ashley was just released from jail after being held for months awaiting trial for Wilden’s murder. With Hanna presumably heading off to college in a few months, we’re guessing Hanna is going to want to spend as much time as possible with her dear old mom.
Work Things Out With Ali
Now that Alison is back from the dead, we’d like to see Hanna work through some of the issues she had with her bestie. When Alison was around before, she made regular comments about Hanna’s weight, a form of bullying that Hanna never stood up to. But Hanna is a different person now, a stronger person. We’d like to see Hanna exert her independence over her BFF —) and hopefully avoiding the division we’re kinda, sorta afraid Alison is going to cause amongst the Liars.
Frankly, this should be on all of the Liars’ to-do lists. These girls won’t be able to rest until “A” is found and brought to justice. From the looks of this sneak peek, Hanna is getting a jump start on this particular resolution. With Caleb out of town, Hanna has thrown herself into the “A” hunt, digging up clues about the corpse potentially in Ali’s casket and looking into the diary she lifted from “A”’s lair. At this rate, she’ll have found “A” by Valentine’s Day!
What resolutions do you think Hanna should make for the new year? Sound off in the comments below!
