Breaking Bad may have sadly come to an end, but the meth-fueled memories created by Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston can’t be erased so easily.
After what many critics and die-hard fans have praised as one of the best shows of all time took its final bow on September 29, many have been left with a particular jones that can’t quite be sated with any old recipe.
Luckily, Albuquerque’s prodigal son has been happy to oblige fans in the interim between the end of the series and the beginning of the spin-off, Better Call Saul (centered around the life of Bob Odenkirk’s two-bit lawyer Saul Goodman) with a few photos to tide them over while they wait for the new episodes to be cooked up.
One such picture, posted to Aaron Paul’s Instagram, serves up nearly as much delight as the show itself, capturing Heisenberg himself, Bryan Cranston, in a magenta sweater and purse, carrying a matching stuffed bear.
Rather than try to explain the context behind the photo, Aaron succinctly writes, “I miss this man.”
Hardly the first showing of bromance between the former castmates, Aaron and Bryan have been vocal supporters of one another since the show’s inception.
One month before the final episode aired, Aaron explained to Reddit of his experience working with the veteran actor, “Just going to set and working off him every single day was a constant learning experience. I wouldn’t be the actor I am today without him. I’ve learned that it’s OK to be professional and very immature at the same time because that describes Bryan perfectly.”
