Rumors are swirling that former Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller has hired a personal bodyguard in prison.

A source says she sought the extra protection after getting into a heated shouting match last month.

According to Radar, Abby hired a woman who "happens to be very feared" to shadow her as a security measure.

The source claims Abby is compensating the woman "in commissary credit."

Radar says the reality TV star angered other inmates when she "insisted on watching herself on TV when the footage of her surrender was aired."

The site has also reported that the star has been crying non-stop while in prison.

Abby was sentenced to one year and one day in prison on May 8, 2017.

The sentencing came a year and a half after the star was first charged with bankruptcy fraud.

She will additionally pay a $40k fine, a $120K judgement, and serve two years of supervised release.

Abby also must provide a DNA sample in relation to her felony charge.

The 50-year-old opened up about her sentencing in an interview with Good Morning America in May.

“I wasn’t trying to hurt anyone," she said.

“I’m just going to pretend I’m shooting a movie and we’re on set and I’m there for 10 months, and that’s how it’s going to be," she joked about her prison stay.

Amidst drama surrounding her sentencing, Abby reportedly put her L.A. dance studio space up for rent in May.
