Sadly, the new preview doesn't feature any new footage from the upcoming chapter of the hospital saga — nor would it, considering Season 11 didn't start filming until this very day (July 25).
But it does amp up excitement for what we're dubbing Shondaland Thursdays. As you likely know by now, Grey's Anatomy and Scandalare both moving up an hour on Thursday nights to make room for new drama How to Get Away With Murder, for whichGrey's/Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes is an executive producer.
And this new ad dubs the night the "total trifecta of twisty, tweetable drama" — with Murder looking every bit as shocking and salacious as Shonda's other shows. After all, as this clip teases, Murder comes from "the same people responsible for putting the 'Oh no they didn't' in Oval Office."
All we have to do is wait exactly two more months before we can truly be saying #TGIT — Thank God it's Thursday!
