Grey’s Anatomy Actresses Ranked in New Poll — The Surprising Winner Is…

Who is the best actress on Grey's Anatomy? Talk about a loaded question!

And yet, we seem to have an answer via SpoilerTV. The site's "Rank of the Week" this week asks readers to vote for their picks for the "best lead actresses currently on TV."

Of the 106 thespians on the list, five are from Grey's. We bet you can guess the biggies, but you may be surprised by the order.

As it stands at the time of this post, Sara Ramirez (Callie Torres) is beating the other pretend-doctors, coming in at #5 with 320 thumbs up and 366 down.

Sandra Oh (Cristina Yang), however, is hot on her heels in the #6 slot with 324 thumbs up and 405 down.

Maybe that's because of Callie and Cristina's switcheroo in the role of Meredith's "person."

As for the other leading ladies on Grey's, Sara's TV lover Jessica Capshaw (Arizona Robbins) comes in at #21 with Chandra Wilson (Miranda Bailey) only one place behind.

Surprisingly, Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey) is down at #25. That's a lot lower than we would have ranked her, but hey, you can't argue with the people. (Unless all you Calzona fans are mobbing the virtual voting booths!)

Still, it's mighty impressive that this quintet of acting talent is above more than 75% of the other women on the list. Go, Grey's, go!
