After weeks of speculation (and intense buttocks analysis) we can officially confirm that The Voice coach and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is People magazine's 2013 Sexiest Man Alive! Didn't see that one coming, did you?
Carson Daly had the honor of revealing the not-so-surprising news on live television during The Voice's live results show on November 19 — and no one was more excited for Adam's big honor than fellow Voice coach Blake Shelton.
"Adam, I know you're now Sexiest Man Alive, but I want you to know I think you're beautiful for what's on the inside," Blake said in his smooth Southern twang.
Adam, who was rocking a casual striped cardigan and pair of signature skinny jeans, cooed back at the country crooner, "You're the sexiest man in my book," and the two bros hugged it out.
"Sexiest Coaches Alive," Carson chimed in.
The recently-engaged rocker follows in the super sexy footsteps of 2012's Channing Tatum and 2011's Bradley Cooper. Not too shabby! But don't worry — Adam's recent success hasn't gone to his head (yet). The 34-year-old singer is just enjoying the ride. "This is just a really interesting time where everything seems to be heading in a certain direction," he says in the interview, on newsstands Friday. "And I'm not taking any of it for granted."
