Adele Lost Weight by Cutting Out Tea
Adele is saying “Hello” from the other side of an impressive weight loss… and letting us in on how she shed the pounds!
Turns out, the secret to the singer’s recent slimdown was to not drink tea… or rather, the sugar she put into her tea.
“I used to drink ten cups a day with two sugars in each so I was on 20 sugars a day,” Adele tells The Sun. “Now I don’t drink it and I have more energy than ever.”
In a Rolling Stone interview last month, the mother of one also revealed her gym regimen.
“I mainly moan,” she said with a laugh. “I’m not, like, skipping to the f—king gym. I don’t enjoy it. I do like doing weights. I don’t like looking in the mirror.
“Blood vessels burst on my face really easily, so I’m so conscious when I’m lifting weights not to let them burst in my face.”
And that’s not the only change her body has underwent since her rise to fame. A vocal hemorrhage in 2011 led to throat surgery... which led to a vocal range four notes higher than it used to be.
So she’s thinner, more energetic, and a better singer. Some people really can have it all!
