Alex McCord Predicts Who’ll Get Cut From RHONY Season 6

Former Real Housewives of New York star Alex McCord has now shared her predictions on which of the RHONY Season 5 ladies may not be asked to return for Season 6.

As Wetpaint Entertainment exclusively confirmed earlier this month, the show’s producers have been in contact with potential new Housewives candidates, but it is not yet clear whether new additions will replace or join the current six – Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, LuAnn de Lesseps, Heather Thomson, Aviva Drescher and Carole Radziwill.

Alex explained in her latest RumorFix vlog that she thinks there are definitely a couple of the ladies who are currently on the chopping block for the new season.

According to her, Aviva’s “safe” (despite her tumultuous season) because the producers “allowed her to end on an up note with her apology.” Same goes for Ramona, per Alex, who might’ve had a “very rough season” but who closed out the year with some positivity in the Lost Footage installment. Sonja, too, is one who Alex predicted will get an offer to return – though she’ll “either have [to have] that toaster oven in stores or never speak of it again” – and Alex said producers are “probably begging” Princess Carole to come back for another season.

The two whose futures are not so clear to Alex, however, are LuAnn and Heather.

“I think [LuAnn is] the weakest link here, I have to say, of the existing cast,” said Alex. “And the last scene of her in this [Lost Footage] episode could be telling. She asked Ramona and Sonja to take a walk with her in the park, and they both dumped her. Dun dun dun!”

As for Heather, Alex explained, “Being a nice person doesn’t mean you’re going to stay on this kind of cage fighting show.”
