Alex & Sierra Finally Meet Their Music Idol! Who Is It?

Talk to Alex & Sierra long enough (and we here at Wetpaint Entertainment have had the pleasure on multiple occasions) and one celebrity’s name is bound to come up.

It’s not Simon Cowell, though the duo’s X Factor mentor remains key as they move onward from their Season 3 win. And no, it’s also not Ed Sheeran, with whom they rubbed elbows during the show and frequently covered on air. The main man on both Alex and Sierra’s minds (but particularly Alex’s) is laidback king of the beach boards, Jason Mraz.

The 22-year-olds are both big fans of the “I Won’t Give Up” singer and while Jason didn’t make an appearance during their time on X Factor, it looks like Alex & Sierra finally had a chance to meet the main man himself.

“It happened,” they captioned a behind stage pic of Alex, Sierra, and, stuck right in the middle like some kind of musical Oreo filling, Mr. Mraz. While Sierra seems totally chill with meeting the two-time Grammy Award winner, her boyfriend is flipping out on the far left of the frame. Adorable.

While there’s been no word Jason is collaborating with Alex & Sierra, we do know the duo is currently recording new music. They recently laid down some tracks with Dylan O’Brien of Teen Wolf and keep their fans posted on new developments via their very active Twitter. You better believe we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for any tweets about more Jason. That song would be a to the Mrazing.
