There’s nothing worse for the women of Mob Wives: New Blood than being called a rat — loyalty is of the utmost importance for people who grew up in “the life.” So when Alicia DiMichele hints to the other ladies in tonight’s episode (January 16) that she thinks one of them has been feeding the press information about her embezzlement trial, it doesn’t go over well.
In the sneak peek of the ep, Alicia is sitting with Big Ang, Drita D’Avanzo, and Renee Graziano, explaining how she found herself amidst charges of embezzlement for the trucking company she co-owned with her husband. She details that all of the business was under her name, as she felt she could make sure things were “by the book.” Unfortunately, she says, she was burned by her husband (Eddie Garofalo), who didn’t abide by the same ethical standards.
And though she can handle the press discussing the facts of the case, Alicia tells the VH1 cameras that she feels like they’ve dipped into her personal life now. “I know that I’m going to have to deal with the consequences of being associated with that lifestyle, but what they’re writing about me feels different. It’s personal.”
So the Philly lady wastes no time before laying out her suspicions to the other women. “It’s obvious that it’s not just a random reporter trying to dig,” Alicia states.
“You think someone’s really trying to f—k you up?” asks Drita.
Oh yes, she replies: “People are evil and that’s what happens.” This throws off Renee, who has a visibly shocked look on her face. “It just seems like somebody’s getting inside information. Somebody’s being fed certain bits and pieces.”
“Who would be feeding that information?” Renee asks. Alicia quickly counters: “From somewhere in this circle”
Uh oh! Who could she be referring to? It won’t be Drita — those two are thick as thieves these days. Something tells us that Renee’s battle with the new Philly ladies has just begun.
Tune in for the rest of the episode of Mob Wives: New Blood when it airs tonight, January 16, at 10 p.m. ET on VH1.
