Watch Alyssa Siebken Sing an Acoustic Version of “No Hands” in the American Idol 2014, Omaha Auditions (VIDEO)

We’ve reached the third and final week of American Idol auditions, which means we’re down to the wire on which contestants will truly compete for the coveted crown! While we’re only in the beginning stages of Season 13, this year’s show has already proven to be different from seasons past. (Thanks in large part to one Harry Connick Jr.)

Of course, there’s one thing that hasn’t changed: numerous rounds of nail-biting auditions! January 30’s episode finds Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick Jr. in Omaha, Nebraska in hopes of finding their next big superstar!

It’s here where the judges meet Alyssa Siebken, a 20-year-old retail manager who walks in with guitar in hand. Like many auditioners we’ve seen before, she decides to perform an acoustic rendition of a very not acoustic song — in this case, “No Hands” by rapper Waka Flocka Flame. Though it’s undoubtedly a ballsy move, the judges aren’t so sure she’s got the vocals to back up her bravado.

“For me, it’s a no,” says Harry. “I just don’t think your voice is strong enough.”

“I’d like to see where you go,” adds Keith. “It’s a yes for me.”

After J.Lo also hesitantly decided to give her a yes, Alyssa’s on her way to Hollywood!

What do you think of Alyssa’s performance? Will she make it to the Top 31? Read our spoilers here!
