Amanda Bynes’s Apartment Gets a Follow-Up Visit From NYPD — Report
Less than 24 hours after the initial arrest, Amanda Bynes is getting another visit from the cops, TMZ reports.
No, she hasn't chucked another alleged bong out of the window, as far as we know, but the NYPD does need to collect witness statements.
Law enforcement apparently were gathering statements from the night doorman and two other building employees, who were there when Amanda was allegedly smoking pot in the lobby. Cops reportedly also interviewed some of Amanda's neighbors that live on her floor about last night's events.
It's been a tough 24 hours for Amanda! The former Nickelodeon was arrested at her apartment last night; had to take a mugshot without her wig; was charged with marijuana possession, evidence tampering, and reckless endangerment; and was followed by paparazzi to and from court this morning. She even used her wig to cover up her face!
Amanda claims that she threw a vase, not a bong, out the window. Her day in court is set for July 9. Amanda is already serving a 3-year probation for driving with a suspended license after reaching a plea deal earlier this month in Burbank, California.
