BREAKING: Amanda Bynes Arrested in NYC Apartment, Throws Bong Out Window
Former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes was arrested Thursday night in her Midtown apartment in New York City, according to NBC New York.
Law enforcement sources say officers were called to the apartment for a report of a disorderly person.
When officers arrived at the 47th Street apartment at about 7:40 p.m. EST, the troubled actress allegedly tossed a bong out the window and was then arrested on a charge of reckless endangerment.
The New York Post says no pedestrians were injured by the object, but Amanda was taken to Roosevelt Hospital to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. She was then taken to a Midtown police station to be processed.
Amanda's attorney was not immediately available for comment.
This is just the latest in Amanda's string of bizarre behavior. She is already serving a 3-year probation for driving with a suspended license after reaching a plea deal earlier this month in Burbank, California. This is in addition to a pending DUI case in Beverly Hills.
