There’s a $10,000 diamond-encrusted grill on hold for Amanda Bynes. The 27-year-old ordered the custom piece of jewelry earlier this summer before, well, everything.
The jeweler behind the rose gold, pink diamond mouthpiece is grill-maker to the stars Ben Baller. Recently, Ben shared a photo of the finished piece on his personal Instagram account; the jeweler says he’s “tried for months” to get the completed accessory to Amanda but hasn’t been able to, according to a BuzzFeed report.
Last we heard, Amanda was, as her parents’s lawyer put it, “getting specialized psych care.” At the end of September, Amanda left UCLA’s Medical Center for The Canyon Rehab Center after a recommendation from her doctors.
Soon after that switch, Amanda’s mother spoke out about the media attention paid to her daughter. “Unless it’s a statement issued by our family attorney, Tamar Arminak, please take everything you read about Amanda with a grain of salt.”
As much as we hope Amanda gets her grill once she receives the help she needs, that may not be the case. It sounds as if Ben is looking for a new buyer for the Bynes’s piece. “Should I auction these off to charity?” he asks alongside the Instagram photo (as reported by BuzzFeed).
