Amanda Bynes had a turbulent 2013, during which she ended up in rehab for months. And while she was known for tweeting outlandish messages prior to rehab, she has been relatively quiet on Twitter lately — until now.
Amanda was hospitalized in July 2013 after starting a fire in her neighbor's driveway, and she was released from her inpatient program in December 2013. She has since been attending fashion school in NYC.
On March 1, Amanda took to Twitter to write a message to her fans. "Hi everyone!" she tweeted. "I'm busy studying at @FIDM but I want to say I love you to my fans! Xoxo Amanda."
This is great to hear! Amanda appears to be a whole new person and in a much happier place since rehab, so we wish her all the best in school and with her continued recovery.
Amanda also recently deleted her controversial tweets from last year, including ones in which she referred to numerous fellow celebs as "ugly." Sources say she is horrified by the tweet she wrote last year about wanting Drake to "murder" her vagina. We can see why she'd be a bit embarrassed of that one.
Meanwhile, the good news continues to come for the former What I Like About You star, who will reportedly not face jail time for her 2012 DUI arrest. Keep it up, Amanda!
Are you surprised that Amanda seems to be doing so well?
