Amanda Leighton to Appear on Pretty Little Liars Season 2

Rosewood’s population keeps expanding. First, we learned about a Hollis College art student named Bryce who will be joining the cast. Then word got out about the Lamberts, two characters who will presumably appear in Season 2, Episode 8, “Save the Date." There's also the liars' therapist, and now, we’ve just discovered that another character named Danielle (Amanda Leighton) is coming to town.

According to IMDB, Amanda Leighton — who has had roles on shows like 90210 and Grey’s Anatomy — will play a recurring character on PLL next season. She’ll appear in at least episodes three and four, but we’re not sure who she’ll be playing. Episode three is titled "My Name is Trouble," which makes us think she might be a new source of problems for the little liars.

Awhile ago, PLL showrunner Marlene King tweeted, “Today's Rosewood forecast: Unusually cold weather remains with a strong chance of a new neighbor and a bone chilling twist.” Maybe Danielle is that new neighbor. If Danielle is in fact moving in, is someone we know moving out?

But that's just speculation. Another guess is that Danielle is someone’s love interest next season. She could be a new love interest for Lucas (Brendan Robinson), or, if she'll bring trouble, maybe she's connected to Noel (Brant Daugherty).

Whoever she is, we're sure she'll stir things up. With all these new character, Season 2 is shaping up to be even more dramatic than Season 1!
