Amanda Stanton on Robby Hayes Split: “He Never Treated Me Like HIs Girlfriend”

Just yesterday, we were talking about how all signs were pointing towards an Amanda Stanton-Robby Hayes split, and now we have confirmation!

Since the Bachelor in Paradise couple first stepped out together in July, fans have wondered whether this could finally be the fairytale ending the single mom deserves.

Unfortunately, while some Season 4 pairs are still together, this isn’t one of them — and now we know why.

As we’d previously heard, the breakup went public on the “live” reunion, which filmed on August 30.

It all started when Emily and Haley Ferguson brought up the rumors that Robby cheated on Amanda while at a Zac Brown Band concert in Colorado in August.

Though they stayed together at the time, according to the 27-year-old beauty, she ultimately realized he wasn’t ready for a relationship.

“We got home from the show, and we decided to give it a shot,” she tells E! News.

She continues, “He asked me to be his girlfriend, and after that, he never really treated me like I was his girlfriend.

“He was still going out with his friends all the time, and he kept going MIA for a few days. It was just a confusing situation.”

That’s enough to get most women riled up, but the Cali native is surprisingly zen about the whole thing.

“I don't think that he did anything wrong,” she starts, “I just think that he's not ready for a relationship.”

The mother of daughters Kinsley, 5, and Charlie, 3, explains that she’s just at the point in her life where she’s looking for something serious  — which he couldn’t offer.

“It just wasn't meant to be. I wish him the best though,” she concludes maturely.

Her former pro swimmer ex might not be as mature as her, though, as she tried and failed to get in touch with him before the reunion special.

She details, “The last couple weeks I tried talking to him, and I was like 'Hey, I think we should be on the same page.’

“But like I said, he's very hard to get a hold of. He never really calls me when he says he's going to...And he just never called me.”

The lifestyle blogger still holds out hope of being “friends” someday, and maintains she has no hard feelings — for the most part.

“It's a little frustrating as a girl, and I think a lot of girls can relate to putting all your effort into somebody and maybe them not doing the same and kind of feeling like you wasted your time,” she reasons.

It probably helped some that the Bachelor alum had her guard up going into this BIP relationship — her second after getting engaged to Josh Murray on Season 3.

The sweet blonde admits to Us Weekly she was “skeptical” of the social influencer before the show, due to his friendship with Josh.

“I wasn’t interested in him at all and I was off limits to him because he’s friends with Josh,” she shares.

“We just kind of talked a little bit during the break and we just kind of enjoyed talking to each other I think.

“And then we just started hanging out more and more and then it just started turning into something.”

Hey, all’s well that ends well, right?

Bachelor in Paradise Season 4 finale airs Monday, September 11 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
