The Amazing Race 25 Cast Announced — Who’s Racing Around the World This Time?

Can you believe The Amazing Race is about to send its 25th group of competitors around the world? Welp, it’s happening! Today, June 2, CBS announced which 11 teams would be racing around the globe in the hopes of winning the grand prize of $1 million. Coming off an all-star season, it’s back to Average Joes making the trek. Who are the lucky teams?

Bethany Hamilton and Adam Dirks (Married Surfers from Princeville, Hawaii)
Kym Perfetto and Alli Forsythe (Urban Bike Racers from Brooklyn, New York)
Amy DeJong and Maya Warren (Food Scientists from Madison, Wisconsin)
Lisa Thomson and Michelle Thomson (Realtor Sisters from Miami, Florida)
Michael Ward and Scott Strazzullo (Firefighters from Boston, Massachusetts)
Brooke Adams and Robbie E. Strauss (Dating Pro Wrestlers from Houston, Texas, and Woodbridge, New Jersey, respectively)
Tim Tsao and Te Jay McGrath (College Sweethearts from Pasadena, California)
Isabelle Du and Dennis Hour (Model and Accountant, respectively, from Tustin, California)
Keith Tollefson and Whitney Duncan (Engaged Couple from Nashville, Tennessee)
Misti and Jim Raman (Married Dentists from Columbia, South Carolina)
Shelley and Nici Porter (Mother/Daughter from Detroit, Michigan)

Do any of these names ring a bell? Well, if you’re an avid watcher of CBS, you’ll recognize Keith Tollefson and Whitney Duncan’s names as two castaways from Survivor: South Pacific. The pair got engaged last year and it looks like they’ll be putting their relationship to the test before walking down the aisle. Good luck, you two!

The 25th season of the Emmy Award-winning series kicked off its next trip around the globe on May 31 when the 11 teams embarked on their whirlwind journey from Times Square in New York City.

As for when the new season starts? You’ll have to wait until this fall when the series premieres at a new day and time: Friday nights at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
