Amber Riley’s Glee Co-star Calls Out Len for Not Giving Her Samba a 10

Amber Riley (Mercedes) continues to make us all proud on Dancing with the Stars, nabbing perfect scores from two of the three judges this week. So why the heck didn’t Amber get a 10 from all three judges? Well, we’re not the only ones who are baffled, as one of Amber’s Glee co-stars wants some answers, too.

Cantankerous DWTS judge Len Goodman is often hard to please, and that’s been especially true for Amber this season. Indeed, Amber and partner Derek Hough’s samba last night blew away judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli, who both handed out perfect 10s. But Len called the dance “a tad repetitive” and gave them only an 8. You need more happiness in your life, Len.

Sure enough, Glee star Kevin McHale (Artie) agrees with us. After the show, Kev took to Twitter to express his dismay at Len’s verdict, and his admiration for the clinic that Amber is putting on week after week.

Nicely said, Kevin! We love that he’s watching Amber each week and cheering her on. Indeed, Amber and Derek had plenty of reason to celebrate, and they were still feeling good about those two 10s. After their performance, Derek tweeted:

Aww! They really are making a great team. And we’re thrilled for Amber, as we really do think she has a great chance to take home the mirror ball. We just wish Len would see the light.
