Jennifer Lopez “First Love” Performance Heats Up American Idol Finale (VIDEO)

Caleb Johnson may have been crowned the victor of American Idol Season 13 last night (May 21) — but Jennifer Lopez left the judges' table and took the stage, showing us all what true starpower looks like.

As the opening bars of her new song "First Love" played, we saw the 44-year-old only in silhouette, dancing in a sheer dress, which she then tore away as the spotlights came up — revealing a sequin-and-mesh blue body suit.

After performing a few minutes of the song, with plenty of hair-whipping, Jennifer exclaimed "I wanna dance!" — before flinging the mic away, shimmying down the Idol stage, and jumping up on the judges' table as a bevy of male backup dancers congregated around her.

And after the bongo-filled dance break ended, one of her backup boys handed her the mic right in time for one last utterance of "I'm still — I'm still — I'm still Jenny from the block."

"First Love" is the second single J.Lo released from her upcoming eighth studio album, A.K.A. — which is due for release on June 13.

Did you like the performance? Are you excited for the album release? Let us know your thoughts below.

American Idol Season 14 airs in 2015.
