Predicting who was eliminated on American Idol tonight was nearly impossible! No matter what happened in the American Idol results this week, the elimination was going to be shocking. While we tentatively bet on country singer Kree Harrison being the one who went home on American Idol tonight, it could just have easily been Angie Miller or Candice Glover who got voted off.

Usually we are relatively confident going into the results show that we have a good idea about who was voted off American Idol by the viewers this week. After all, we’ve been correct in our predictions for who went home on American Idol 2013 in every round but one (and dang it, that whole Lazaro Arbos debacle was not our fault).

This time around, however, we honestly had a very difficult time figuring out who got kicked off American Idol by the voters in this round. While Kree Harrison seemed to have the weakest overall odds, her extremely moving hometown visit and incredibly emotional performance on American Idol last night just might have given her the edge she needed to make the finale.

While we felt relatively confident Angie Miller would make the American Idol finale (and apparently so did she), the voters are often fickle and could suddenly decide they are bored with her. Or they could choose Candice Glover as the person who got eliminated on American Idol tonight, despite her incredible, jaw-dropping final performance last night.

So who did the voters choose as the girl who was voted off American Idol this week and would not make the finale? We're not sure if you're going to believe this but... the person eliminated after the nationwide vote was...

Angie Miller!

That's right, the former front-runner and perceived favorite was eliminated. Which means Kree Harrison and Candice Glover will be the Top 2 ladies battling it out in the American Idol finale next week!
