Ellen DeGeneres asked Keith Urban who is going to win American Idol 2013 this season, and the super dreamy judge definitely gave a fairly politically correct answer.

While Mr. Nicole Kidman said
Kree Harrison is an “amazing singer,” he did admit that he thinks “Candice has a bit of the edge.” We can read between the lines on that one...Candice...cough, cough...Candice. We tend to agree, though, in that America really can’t go wrong with their votes whether they pick Candice Glover or Kree Harrison. In fact, we have pretty much felt that way since the Top 4.

Keith also addressed Randy Jackson’s somewhat shocking American Idol departure, saying he’d be replacing the Dawg. While he seemed to be joking, he did go on to say, “I’m going to miss Randy.” Power of deduction seems to say that Keith might actually be sticking around, which we think would be great.

One thing we’ve noticed about Keith Urban this year is he has a very dry sense of humor. So does Harry Connick, Jr. Throw in Carrie Underwood and we have a pretty compelling panel, folks!

Do you agree with Keith that Candice has the edge? What do you think of a Keith/Harry/Carrie panel?
