The American Idol ratings may be on a steady freefall but that doesn’t mean the powers that be aren’t going to thrill us with exciting live performances on this year’s finale. In fact, according to our American Idol spoilers, the Season 12 finale is looking like it will be one of the most exciting in the show’s history.

On Wednesday’s finale performance show, teen and tween sensation and “Call Me Maybe” singer Carly Rae Jepsen will be performing her new song, “Take A Picture,” which was a collaboration between American Idol 2013 fans and Carly as part of a Coca-Cola promotion this year.

Current judges Keith Urban and Mariah Carey have reportedly pre-taped performances for the finale. Keith will perform a new single while Mimi is said to be pre-taping a medley of her biggest hits, dahlings.

Former judge Jennifer Lopez will return to the American Idol stage and, although the song hasn’t been confirmed, speculation is she’ll perform “Live It Up,” the first single off her upcoming album. After hearing that American Idol producers attempted to replace Mariah with J-Lo mid-season, we’re hoping they have a Mariah-reaction-cam in place. Come on – you know you were thinking it, too.

Last year’s American Idol winner Phillip Phillips is also rumored to return, although this one’s up in the air considering he just canceled his summer tour due to health issues.

Adam Lambert has been said to be performing a “surprise duet,” but it seems to be the worst surprise in history, as many media outlets have confirmed it will be with third place finisher Angie Miller. We also hear that Angie may possibly be singing an original song either with Adam, or by herself. It may or may not be her previously performed original "You Set Me Free," a new original, or her co-written 'Coronation Song' that she would have sang on the American Idol performances show Wednesday night had she not been eliminated.

The Band Perry will sing with 5th place finisher Janelle Arthur, while Frankie Valli (wait, he’s still alive?) will perform with the Top 10 guys.

The latest performer to be added to the extensive American Idol finale live performance list is Korean pop singer — and he of “Gangnam Style” fame  Psy, who is on tap to perform his latest hit, “Gentleman.”

We’re not sure if they could possibly add any more but, if they do, we’ll let you know! Who are you most excited to see perform on this week’s American Idol finale?
