Carly Rae Jepsen didn't just premiere a new song Wednesday night on American Idol's final performance episode, she added another name to the list of possible judges for next season.
Canadian Idol's third place finisher in 2007 said that she would make a "terrible" judge, saying "I'd be too motherly and I would be like, "You should all go through! You did a great job! Let's be friends..."
In fact, the "Take a Picture" singer advised finalists Kree Harrison and Candice Glover to read up on the music business and find some good representation.
But that didn't stop her from endorsing her friend and fellow Canadian for his own judgeship on the reality competition show.
"Justin would be awesome," Carly said in an interview after the American Idol performances show on Wednesday night. "He's got lots of great opinions when it comes to the music world and he's very experienced — especially for being so young."
This isn't the only praise Carly Rae has thrown Justin's way recently, though.
"All I see is an incredibly hard worker and a man who's just passionate about what he does," she told E! News in response to the Bieb's bad press during his current tour. "Just putting it on himself to take on a lot all at once."
Whether he is asked to be a judge next season or not, one thing is for certain: Carly Rae Jepsen is a total belieber.
