Allison Iraheta and Halo Circus bandmate Matthew Hager reportedly eloped back in January and have been keeping the news under wraps since then.

According to The Hollywood Reporter's "Idol Worship" blog, the 21-year-old singer and her new hubby first met through a mutual friend, guitarist David Immerman. Matthew is a multi-platinum producer who has worked with big names like Duran Duran, Mandy Moore, and the Backstreet Boys to name a few.

The couple and David started working together and the relationship continued to blossom from there.

“Matthew said we should write a song and have fun,” Allison said. “Two or three weeks after that we wrote our first song. We liked being creative, and I thought it might be an opportunity to reintroduce myself to the music world. And it was.”

They co-wrote Allison's song "Gone," and Allison attributes the songwriting process to bringing them closer together.

"Our souls were patched together in this project," the pink-haired singer said. "It was so honest. We felt like family, so we continued to write as a band."

You will remember Allison from season 8 of American Idol, where she came in fourth place, while Matthew is from Houston, Texas and graduated from Boston's Berklee College of Music back in 1991.
