Is she or isn’t she? Rumors continue to fly about whether Jennifer Lopez will make her grand return to the American Idol judges table in 2014, and the latest article by E! News on the subject only further confounds us.
According to the article, “While speculation that J. Lo may return to the singing competition continues to grow, E! News can tell you that she has no intention of becoming a judge again.”
"It's not happening," a source reportedly told E!.
The next part of the article points out that Jennifer, on the other hand, hasn’t denied the rumors.
"I don't know what's happening over there," Jennifer said during a guest appearance on On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Monday. "I don't know. We will see. I'm always open to the infinite possibilities that the universe has to offer. So you never know."
We reported on a clandestine meeting between J-Lo and Ryan the other day, but perhaps it’s much ado about nothing, as she could have just been doing the interview for his show.
In the end, there remains to be a huge question mark as to whether the pop diva’s ample derriere will be seated at the table for American Idol season 13.
Not only that, but E! reports that all plans about who is going to judge next year have “grinded to a halt” due to the hiring of Swedish “Idol honcho” Per Blankens, who is filling the shoes of the recently ousted producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick.
Come on, already! We want to know! Who do you hope nabs at spot at the 2014 American Idol judges table?
