The American Idol Season 12 Summer Tour kicks off on July 19, but don’t expect much more information than that. Ask any of the Top 10 finalists what songs they’ll be singing, and you’re likely to receive a blank stare.

While the lineup for the show is being kept top secret, there’s one thing we can start getting excited to see. During a recent rehearsal in Burbank, California, the cast was caught performing their rendition of Phillip Phillips’ current hit, “Gone, Gone, Gone.”

The Season 11 winner has already topped three Billboard charts with his second single, so the song is sure to be a hit with the summer tour crowds. When asked how they feel about performing the song, the Season 12 contestants are quick to say it has special meaning.

“It was our season’s goodbye, voted-off song, so it’s kind of sad for us,” explained third place contestant Angie Miller. “It’s bittersweet.”

While other songs from the tour have yet to be revealed, runner-up Kree Harrison did tease a tiny bit of info: “You can expect a big contrast, with people jumping up and down like crazy and then there’ll be intimate moments as well.”

Sounds like a pretty amazing show to us. Good thing we already have our tickets!
