Kelly Clarkson has wedding fever, y'all! The soon-to-be married American Idol alum is clearly ready to tie the knot with fiancé Brandon Blackstock, as evidenced by her latest performance of her wedding-themed and country-twanged new single, "Tie It Up," at the CMA Music Festival on August 12.

The rocker-turned-country crossover stepped out in a flirty red dress and a pair of brown ankle boots, appearing more confident than ever. Love looks good on you, lady! Getting in touch with her Texas roots yet maintaining her classic Kelly edge, she put her own effortless pop-rock twist on the catchy country/blues tune.

Yeah, we know — it's a bit bizarre to hear the former “Miss Independent” belt out lyrics about committing to a man, but honestly, we're kind of digging it. Although her man-hating songs make the best karaoke choices by far, we're ready to get down with her girly new sound. We just hope she doesn't go all soft on us after saying "I do" on October 20.

The official "Tie It Up" video will air tonight, August 13, at 8 p.m. ET during CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock on ABC, but in the meantime check out Kelly's live performance of the tune and tell us your thoughts below. Cowboy boots optional.
