It’s been a long, hard hiatus since Candice Glover was crowned the winner of American Idol Season 12. Thankfully, a brand new year brings a brand new crop of hopefuls, and we can’t wait to see all the talent they have in store!

We only have a few more days until the Season 13 premiere, but we’re still chomping at the bit for any juicy scoop. Luckily, the kinds folks over at FOX have treated us some sneak peek clips from the first round of auditions, held in Austin, Texas and Boston, Massachusetts.

Will the judges fall in love with 21-year-old Keith London, a handyman who busts out an acoustic rendition of “Roar?” Or will Madelyn Patterson’s bluesy take on “Up to the Mountain” be more the judges’ taste? Perhaps worship pastor Jordan Grizzard will slay them with his soulful rendition of “Ain’t No Sunshine.” Of course, it could be deli grocer Malcolm Allen who blows the competition away with “Superstition.”
