Jennifer Lopez reportedly earned a whopping $12 million for her stint on the show for its tenth season, a number which was bumped up to $15 million for Season 12. When that season wrapped, she ran away as fast as she could from Steven Tyler left the show. Now, J.Lo reportedly gets a staggering $17.5 million to fill the chair with her highly insured behind this season.
As for her fellow judges, our best guess for the undeniably charming Harry Connick, Jr.’s salary is roughly $5 million (although we’d bet renegotiations are already underway due to the rave reviews he’s received). So what does the equally charming yet relatively quiet Keith Urban make in relation?
BuzzFeed claims the adorable country singer is also making about $5 million, which is fairly low when compared to the salaries of other reality show judges. Cee Lo Green brings in $6 million for (taking up space in) his swivel chair on The Voice, while pop diva Christina Aguilera reportedly earns an impressive $12 million for her coaching work on the same show.
Perhaps Keith needs to talk to his management about upping his salary but, then again, Season 13 could shape up to be the “Harry & J-Lo Show” judging from the episodes aired to date. Keith offers great feedback but it seems to be few and far between, and he flies pretty low under the radar. If he hopes to earn more, he might have to cause a bit more commotion. In the meantime, we’ll just enjoy his winning smile and dreamy eyes.
