American Idol is back in full swing and it’s already proving to be a different show of seasons past. We’ve said goodbye to the judges’ squabbles and the all-around negativity, and welcomed in the age of Harry Connick, Jr! (Seriously, can that guy get any more adorable?)

Of course, the one thing that hasn’t changed are the numerous rounds of auditions. When Idol returns for Night Three on January 22, the judges will head off to Detroit, Michigan in hopes of finding the country’s next big superstar.

Will Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and HCJ fall in love with anyone they meet in the Motor City? Perhaps they’ll be won over by 29-year-old Bryan Watt, who performs an acoustic rendition of Carrie Underwood’s “So Small.” Or maybe they’ll fall head-over-heels for Marrialle Sellars and her soulful rendition of “Grenade.” Then again, the judges just could be too scarred by twins Karlita and Rakita to think of anyone else.
