We’ve only seen two weeks of American Idol so far, but the talent we’ve witnessed is better than it’s been in years! Could we have already met the person who’s going to become the country’s next big superstar? It’s totally possible! It’s also possible that we’ll meet them later this week.

When Season 13 returns on January 29 and 30, the judges will continue their tour of America in hopes of finding that diamond in the rough. Up next for Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick Jr: Salt Lake City, Utah and Omaha, Nebraska!

It’s in SLC where the judges meet Samantha Calmes, a 25-year-old who delivers a bluesy rendition of “Movin’ On Up.” Will they fall in love with her unique voice and quirky sense of style?

Perhaps it’ll be Kenzie Hall’s unexpected version of “Find Another You” that’ll have the judges falling out of their chairs. Or just maybe it’ll be Carmen Delgina (and her famous rapper father) who will leave a lasting impression.

Later, over in Omaha, the judges will be wowed by Alyssa Siebken’s acoustic version of Waka Flocka Flame. But will she outshine another contender, whose mature rendition of “Stand of Me” has Harry literally dancing onstage?
