Much like the earlier parts of this year of American Idol, Season 13 is full of twists and turns that we’ve never seen before. Replacing Vegas Round is the all-new Rush Week, a highly-emotional, intensive round which promises to narrow down our Top 31 to the remaining 13 who will compete for our votes in the finals.

Not all of the contestants will sing for the country, however, as Ryan Seacrest reveals that only 10 of the ladies will take the stage on February 18. Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr, and Keith Urban have reviewed the tapes of the contestants and will be calling them one-by-one to perform... leaving five of them brokenhearted.

First up is 21-year-old Majesty Rose York, who decides to take on Pharrell’s Oscar-nominated song “Happy” from the animated movie Despicable Me 2. Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert returns as mentor for the evening, calling the song choice a perfect fit for her style. Will the judges agree when she takes the stage to give her final performance?

“Oh my goodness, that’s how you’re supposed to come out here!” says J.Lo. “You are ready for showtime! And that’s the confidence you’ll need to make it through this competition. Besides that, your voice sounds amazing and you delivered that song in a beautiful way. Very good start!”
