Much like the earlier parts of this year of American Idol, Season 13 is full of twists and turns that we’ve never seen before. Replacing Vegas Round is the all-new Rush Week, a highly-emotional, intensive round which promises to narrow down our Top 31 to the remaining 13 who will compete for our votes in the finals.

Not all of the contestants will sing for the country, however. As we saw on last night’s stress-inducing episode (February 18), only 10 of the 15 ladies got to take the stage, while the others were sent home brokenhearted. Tonight it’s the guys’ turn to start biting their nails as they wait to see who will get called to the stage.

Next up is 23-year-old Emmanuel Zidor, who decides to take on “The Best of My Love” by the Emotions. Not surprisingly, Emmanuel has a lot of emotions himself, as the coaches keep pressing him to dial down his performance. Will he take what he learned in rehearsal and use it on the stage, or will the adrenaline of the competition be his downfall?

“What happens is adrenaline kicks in and it makes for a great physical performance,” says Keith. “But the first thing that happens with adrenaline is that the whole key goes up here, but the band stays down here. So you’re singing above the note most of the time. Reign that in.”

Will Emmanuel make it through to the Top 13? The choice is up to you! Vote by calling 1-855-4-IDOL-03 or text 3 to 83676.
