Much like the earlier parts of this year of American Idol, Season 13 is full of twists and turns that we’ve never seen before. Replacing Vegas Round is the all-new Rush Week, a highly-emotional, intensive round which promises to narrow down our Top 31 to the remaining 13 who will compete for our votes in the finals.

Not all of the contestants will sing for the country, however. As we saw on last night’s stress-inducing episode (February 18), only 10 of the 15 ladies got to take the stage, while the others were sent home brokenhearted. Tonight it’s the guys’ turn to start biting their nails as they wait to see who will get called to the stage.

Next up is 17-year-old Sam Woolf, who decides to take on “Babylon” by David Grey. Teaming up with former judge Randy Jackson and Associate Music Director Michael Orland, Sam works on learning how to connect with a song and develop his stage presence. Will he be able to take what he learned and bring it into his performance?

“I love it was a really good performance and great song choice too,” says Harry. “I was thinking as you were performing that confidence comes in so many sizes, shapes, and colors and it doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be big and over the top. But I wonder if there aren’t some little tweaks. I hope that you can gain small degrees of confidence as this competition goes on, because you’re terrific.”

Will Sam make it through to the Top 13? The choice is up to you! Vote by calling 1-855-4-IDOL-04 or text 4 to 83676.
